Fentress architects selected to design usa pavilion at expo 2020 dubai

Curtis W. Fentress and Fentress Architects have unveiled the design of the United States pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai. Aimed at representing more than 325 million Americans, the pavilion seeks to “provide a unique platform for [the United States] to come together to showcase the best of [their] cultural and commercial achievements.” The pavilion will have a circular floor, with “inclinations designed to project a sense of movement, making the viewer feel as if the building itself is in motion”. The interior of the pavilion will showcase American innovation and technology, including the premiere of the Virgin Hyperloop.
